I am very happy to introduce to you our first birthday guide curated by Dovilé Mikeléniené - a designer from Lithuania, a mum of two little girls and a person behind adorable Gera Bloga shop, facebook and website. She was so kind to share with us her ideas and inspirations while preparing a first birthday party for her twin girls. Thank you Dovilé!

Parents want only the best for their children. So when this big celebration comes knocking on your door, well, it is kind of a headache deciding how to astonish them. We want it to be simple yet mind-blowing, stylish yet colorful and vivid. So how you can make this happen without your hair turning gray?

Create your vision. It dictates the whole preparation for the party. Do you want a cozy and nice meeting with closest friends and family in your back yard or an over the top celebration in some fascinating children’s games park? My name is Maria Demetriou and I am the designer of the Demetriou collection. I am an event stylist based in Cyprus. Making people’s memorable events beautiful is something that pleases and fulfils me. I create decorative ornaments using such materials as fabrics, lace and wood. Kids clothing was always on my mind and I started making it after some of my customers requested something special for their kids.
